AudioEntropia is a space dedicated to activities that mostly involve sound. Sound which is ambiguous, traverses many different media and is available in action, gesture and installation. Its boundaries are defined by the laws of physics and our imagination.

Audrey Chen (Baltimore, USA) jest amerykańską performerką i muzykiem o chińskich korzeniach. Urodziła się w 1976 roku na przedmieściach Chicago. Wykorzystując wiolonczelę, głos i analogową elektronikę, miesza i nakłada na siebie techniki tradycyjne i rozwinięte. Dużą część jej muzyki stanowi improwizacja, która ma niezwykle osobisty, płynący z wnętrza charakter. W swoich performance'ach łączy dźwięk, ruch oraz elementy wizualno rzeźbiarskie. Chen występuje zarówno solo, jak i we współpracy z wieloma muzykami i tancerzami. Współpracowała m.in. z takimi wybitnymi improwizerami, jak: Phil Minton, Elliott Sharp, Aki Onda, Phill Niblock, Alessandro Bosetti, Mike Cooper, Mats Gustafsson, Sten Sandell, Mazen Kerbaj, Michael Zerang, Tatsuya Nakatani, Assif Tsahar, Scott Rosenberg, Le Quan Ninh, Joe Mcphee, Susan Alcorn, Michele Doneda, Paolo Angeli i Gianni Gebbia. W kilku obecnych dwusosobowych projektach występują Gianni Gebbia, Alessandro Bosetti i Nate Wooley.

Audrey Chen is a chinese-american musician and performance artist born outside of chicago in 1976. Using the cello, voice and analog electronics, Chen's work focuses on the combination and layering of traditional and extended techniques. A large component of her music is improvised and her approach to this is often extremely personal and visceral. Her performance work incorporates sound, movement and simple visual/sculptural concepts. Chen performs solo and in collaboration with a wide number of musicians and dancers. Some current projects include duos with Gianni Gebbia, Tatsuya Nakatani, Alessandro Bosetti and Nate Wooley. She is currently based in Baltimore MD, USA where she is member of the red room and high zero collective, An on-going series and festival devoted to experimental music.
