Arrhythmus to wspólny projekt zespołu Shepherds of Cats i VJ Pietrushki, który oddaje hołd pionierom filmu absolutnego: Hansowi Richterowi, Vikingowi Eggelingowi i Walterowi Ruttmannowi. Artyści dokonują dekonstrukcji i reinterpretacji ich wczesnych prac (abstrakcyjnych animacji), wykorzystując do tego techniki improwizacji, preparowane instrumenty i przetwarzanie wideo. W ten sposób tworzą spektakl audiowizualny, w którym muzyka, światło i obraz przenikają się, tworząc nieprzewidywalną, abstrakcyjną formę.

Arrhythmus is a joint project by the band Shepherds of Cats and VJ Pietrushka, paying tribute to the pioneers of absolute film: Hans Richter, Viking Eggeling and Walter Ruttmann. The artists deconstruct and reinterpret their early works (abstract animations), employing techniques of improvisation, prepared instruments and video processing. In doing so, they create an audiovisual spectacle in which music, light and image interweave to form an unpredictable, abstract whole.
