to tytuł międzynarodowego projektu
realizowanego przez klikoro młodych artystów prezentujących swój punkt
widzenia na drażliwe i delikatne zagadnienie "wędrówki ludów"
na progu trzeciego tysiąclecia. Hasło "Zachód" dla wielu ludzi
oznacza wizję lepszej przyszłości, wizję poprawy warunków życia, a jego
geograficzne konotacje stopniowo tracą sens wraz z rozszerzaniem się UE
i przesuwaniem wizji granicy dobrobytu coraz bardziej na Wschód.

dla których emigracja stanowi osobiste doświadczenie, we współpracy budują
zwarty i zagęszczony obraz tego zjawiska, które prócz wszelkich innych
posiada także indywidualny wymiar praktycznej codzienności i doznań intymnch.
Realizując projekt używają wideo, fotografii, sieci www i innych mediów.
PROJECT TOPIC:
Emigration phenomenon inside European Union between old and new members
"West" became new meaning, it doesnt mean just geographical
dimension, but also vision of better life, vision of improvement, vision
of future for many young people.
The main issue of the project is an emigration of young people from eastern
countries to West. "West" became new meaning, it doesnt mean
just geographical dimension, but also vision of better life, vision of
improvement, vision of future for many young people. This "new migration
of 3rd Millennium" is very trendy in countries like Poland, Slovakia,
Lithuania, etc. And further it will start to expand also in other integrating
countries like Romania, Bulgaria, The Ukraine, Turkey. The border of "West"
will move somehow to East. What does emigration mean for old members and
what does it mean for new members of EU?
It is Polish - Slovak - Hungarian project. Young artists from each country
will present their point of view connected with this topic. All of them
have practical experiences with this emigration problem and presented
works will show their expression of this sensitive and very intimate issue.
During the realization time they are cooperating and trying to join their
ideas to make very compact show. They are using video, photography, web
and other new media.
